On the day of Thrissur Pooram Festival when large crowds assemble in front of Vadakkunnathan Temple, I had climbed over a building and was pushing through the crowds for a better view of the festivities. When I stepped back for a moment and looked around, I saw the tall white structure of this Church dominate the the town’s buildings.
