I was visiting some ancient temples built by the Hoysala kings near Hassan &#8211; at <a href=\"http:\/\/travel.paintedstork.com\/blog\/2005\/11\/architectural-splendor-belur-and.html\">Belur and Halebeedu<\/a> and some less known places nearby. While there, I made a quick visit on a morning to the verdant hills of <a href=\"http:\/\/travel.paintedstork.com\/blog\/2005\/07\/monsoon-time.html\">Mullayyanagiri<\/a>.
