Am kicking off my vacation with a trip to Hampi. It is almost a year since <a href=\"http:\/\/travelblog.paintedstork.com\/2005\/09\/drive-to-hampi.html\" title=\"driving to Hampi\">I was there<\/a> and was spell bound by the beauty of the place. And what struck me is its uniqueness. I don&#8217;t think there is another place in the world that resembles Hampi even slightly. And this time when I am going, the timing is perfect &#8211; I will be there for this years Hampi Utsava, and continue to hang out after the fest for some more time.
