And if you are wondering why is Sir Swan\u2019s\u00a0expedition called 2041 it is because in that year the no drilling, no mining Antarctica treaty is coming up for review. The expeditions main aim is to raise the awareness about the treaty and environment. I decided to raise the individual funds via\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstgiving.com\/fundraiser\/mriduladwivedi\/mriduladwivedisfundraisingpage\/\" target=\"_blank\">FirstGiving.<\/a>\u00a0I decided to go with FirstGiving because it transfers the money directly to Sir San\u2019s 2041 and I do not come in picture anywhere as far as the money is concern!<\/p>\n<p>I am obviously scared that it is a big amount that I am trying to raise but what fun the life is if I never tried anything bigger than me? For of course this trip, the goal of the trip, the continent, everything is bigger than me. So I know I can\u2019t do this alone.
