Over the past few months, I have been working on some template changes, which is now nearly complete. The blog now is &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 13px;\">Renamed as <strong>&#8216;India Travel &amp; Photography Blog&#8217;<\/strong> from its earlier title of &#8216;India Travel Blog&#8217;. In the past year or so, the focus on this blog towards travel photography has increased considerably. So, I thought a change in name would be appropriate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Posting <strong>big pictures<\/strong>. The world is moving towards bigger pictures and it only made sense to follow suit. Although the blog has been hosting large size images for nearly a year now, the restrictions with the old template required that the reader click on an image to see the larger version. This additional step is no longer necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Look and feel changes. The <strong>template has been modified<\/strong> to take larger images. The cluttered side bar has been knocked out to improve the reading\/picture-viewing experience. The overall look is made much simpler than it was before. I think it is also easier now for new visitors to get a good idea of the content <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paintedstork.com\">paintedstork.com<\/a> is.<\/li>\n<li>Having <strong>mobile version of the site<\/strong> as well. This version is in place for a few months now. If you haven&#8217;t already seen it, visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/travel.paintedstork.com\/blog\/\">http:\/\/travel.paintedstork.com\/blog\/<\/a> using your mobile to see a sleek version that is\u00a0easy to read on a mobile phone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The changes on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paintedstork.com\">paintedstork.com<\/a> are not limited to the blog. The <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.paintedstork.com\">homepage<\/a><\/strong> now has a <strong>swanky, professional design<\/strong>. A <strong>new image gallery<\/strong> is in place, which is conveniently accessed from the home page. The contents of the image gallery are being uploaded slowly and may take a few months to complete.<\/p>\n<p>A few changes are still in progress. Soon to be added is a <strong>revamped mailing list<\/strong>, with the old one being\u00a0dysfunctional\u00a0for a long time now.
