DARWIN WIGGET AND MORE ABOUT EQUIPMENTS
Friday, July 22, 2005
A few days back I wrote about Ken Rockwell's opinion on having too many equipments. I bumped into another article by Darwin Wigget that seems to echo similar opinions. Wigget says he was a gear junkie who figured out eventually that 80% of his photographs were taken by 20% of his equipments, and he went on to cutting down using many of his equipments and started moving out with just a body and a suitable lens. Some of Darwin Wigget's articles are informative and very useful. I especially found a gem in his NPN article on communicating with light. The photographs you see in all his articles are amazing, as if he managed to discover an excitingly beautiful new world!
