MORE DIGICAMS FROM CANON
The word was abuzz that Canon is soon to launch a new Digital SLR. There were expectations of all kind. Most people were looking forward to replacements for 20D and 300D. But what is now coming out is a pro body - EOS 5D with 12MP sensor which will be released on October. It is going to cost more than $3000. They claim that it is going to be the world's smallest digicam. That is surprising because already many people are bothered about small size of EOS 350D, and a smaller size would be more annoying. A continuos shooting speed of just 3fps is also surprising, since even 20D has 5fps and 350D has 3fps.
And there are many new consumer digicams to choose from in all ranges starting from 3mp to 8mp. A look at the profile of these cameras shows that the price of digicams are falling quickly and base resolution of cameras is increasing.
