SOME TRAVELLING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

As I have written earlier, I have been spending a good lot of time travelling, enjoying the experiences and experimenting with photography. I was at Rishikesh, walking on the banks of sacred river Ganga and trying to capture the Yogis in the town and the rituals on the river bank. I then headed to beautiful ski resort and Auli. While I skiied, I also tried my hands on capturing the beautiful mountains around, including the Nanda Devi, one of the highest mountains of the world. I also shot some actions in skiing and snow boarding and came back with some satisfactory results.

Further, I am headed towards the wilderness - to view and capture the fauna and the vistas of Rajaji National Park and the famed Corbett National Park. I shall then continue towards Varanasi, a place revered by every other photographer and try my luck there.

I wish I could post some pictures here, but the fact that I shoot raw and don't carry any processing software with me means that I have to wait till I head back home.

I am going to be out travelling for 2-3 weeks starting tomorrow and updates here will be sporadic. I am travelling to picturesque locations in Northern parts of India and hope to return with many images. I shall be logging on to the internet once in a while and try to make some updates, but unlikely that I will update regularly till I return.

Here is some information that every Canon user would want to know, even though it is unofficial. Have a look at this chart that is rumored to be the future roadmap for release Canon cameras. It mentions about Canon's plan for digital SLR cameras that are coming up till end of 2006. You would not want to miss it, especially if you are considering buying a digi SLR.
