September has been one of the slowest months on India Travel Blog in terms of travelogues and longer stories. The reasons are many. I have been spending some time travelling, and also working on a few things that have kept me busy. I just returned from Shimla where I spent a week with judges and winners of Club Mahindra Blog‘s My Trip of a Lifetime contest. A short trip to Galibore on the bank of Kaveri followed. A detailed write-up on these will follow in a few days. Other things that kept me occupied were a few travel writing requests that had to be completed within this month. Starting this month, I am also writing for iVinca, a start up specializing in experiential travel. My iVinca write-ups will be slightly varied from what I write here. It will have short and long write-ups on my travel experiences, travel industry, travel and social media and iVinca specializations.

I have been trying to post regularly on India Travel Blog, though it has been mostly pictures. I have also been slack on reading other blogs and articles on the net, an activity on which I used to spend long hours. I should be back to regular posting here from October, when I hope to write a few long posts on Shimla and continue writing Ladakh Travelogues. Stay tuned. 🙂

Mountains of Mashobra, Shimla

Another image of the morning from this place. Some of the far far away peaks seen from my vanatage point (not in picture) include Leo Purgyal, Reo Purgyal and Kinner Kailash range.
