A Himalayan Morning
I am at Shimla at the moment, thanks to an invitation from Club Mahindra. Here is a picture of the valley of Mashobra seen from my room, shot just before sunrise.
Chadar Trek – Walking on the Frozen Zanskar River – January 2010

If all goes well, I will be heading to the mountains in January for the Chadar Trek – an expedition of walking on the frozen Zanskar River. My fingers are crossed at the moment, but I can’t think of a reason why I would not be able to make it.
The expedition is organized by Manish Lakhani who made it to the trek in January 2009 too (Read his guest post on Chadar Trek on India Travel Blog). We can still accommodate three more persons on the trek. Manish wants to close the bookings by November to ensure that there is enough time to work on planning and logistics.
